So, umm my favorite rapper and artist responsible for my current 5 favorite songs tweeted me last night.
I yelled, jumped, and spun in circles about 100 times resulting in my falling to the ground. Then ran around the house.
I love you, hoodie.
You call it a blog.
I call it a journal.

The little things
Don't take for granted the little things.
Like cinnamon on graham crackers,
or a funny boss,
or freshly shaven legs,
silly YouTube videos,
hoodies,
the Internet,
your very own room,
the chance to further your education,
or a heated blanket,
smelly lotion,
or smiles,
a good grade on a test,
painted nails,
and music.
I don't.

Unstable
Dear journal~
If you asked me how my senior year was going I would answer 'good!' with a smile. And it would be the truth and completely sincere. But then why does it feel so.. not-so-good?
I think satan has found one of my many weaknesses and decided to full fledge attack Morgan this year.
It's getting hard. I have no choice but to grow up in this very scary world. With people that don't want you to succeed. Who tell you you are nowhere near good enough. Who boast and brag. Who are beautiful in a worldly way.
I've learned that to 'just get through it' isn't enough. Enjoy the journey. Find the good things. Be grateful. Love wholly. Cry sometimes. Laugh more times. Share your feelings even though its scary. Pray out loud.
These things have gotten me through so far. Friends won't always be there. They'll let you down. Sometimes they're phony. They make you sad. But if you find the right ones, it'll all balance out with the good times. But you must must must find good friends. Even if you now only have a couple. It'll be worth it.
It'll all be worth it.

@ the Meyers
My home away from home is literally 5 steps away. Lucky for me, it's my neighbors.
I like to spend lat nights with the Meyers. We tend to do crazy things like eat way too many cookies, built a plastic cup wall, minute to win it, watch a cheesy movie, gawk over this hot man, guzzle some martinellis, and watch dear John.

Thankful
I am so inexplicably thankful for my family this thanksgiving. They mean so much to me. I love them with all of my heart.
Tyler becomes Elder Evans next week, so as tradition we did a nativity so he could be a part of it even though he'll be gone for Christmas. A little different than most thanksgivings, but very spiritual and heartwarming.
